D.I.Y. Fisheye Lens
Since I bought my E-500, I had been dreaming of a fisheye lens. But until now, I still cannot afford one. What I like about the fisheye lens are the effect of the round distortion and it can cover super ultra wide angle of sight... Read More...

18th Sentosa Kindergarten Sports Day

It's been some time since my last post. I've been very busy for the past three weeks and did not do any photoshooting. Luckily, my aunt had invited me to be the photographer for Sentosa Kindergarten Sports Day which held on 29 April 2007.

Nowaday, Kindergarten's sports day is very much different from my time. Last time, the same normal games repeatedly play every year. But now, the games are not an easy task for the kids of age between 4-6. This year, the games involved education, leisure and household activities.

Below are the series of photos I taken. Comments & Critiques are welcomed. Enjoy...

The Outfit...

The Kids...they seems not very comfortable with my big camera :)

The Green...

The Yellow...

The Blue...

The Red...

Every formal event must start with National Anthem...

Negaraku~~~...

And also some exercise...

There are 9 games in total to be completed by the kids. Each team will send 4-5 kids for a game and each kid needs to compete in 2 games averagely.

The first game to go is ROLL THE BALL...

The second one... PUT AND COLLECT... The first 2 games are quite simple and normal...

The fun begins in third game... TORTOISE WALK... The kids need to balance themselves on the small tortoise shoes.

Then comes PIERCE AND ARRANGE...

After 4 games, there is a short break. Parents are entertained by a music session by the kids...

The game continues with EGG COLLECTOR...

And the FISHING GAME... During this game, the kids was so concentrate and enjoy themselves. It is not easy to fish the 'fish'. Longest game of the day...

Then comes the education game, MIND YOUR A-B-C... Kids need to match the capital letter with the small letter of ABC...

The funniest will be this game, MY LAUNDRY. The kids will take turn to do their own laundry... :)

The final game, TUG OF WAR...

Last but not least, the Prize-giving Ceremony... Every kids get at least 2 prizes because even fourth will be given a trophy. So, the event is a happy ending event... :)

Lastly, I conclude my post with the cutest photo of the day...

If you can lower down to kids level.. i thinks the position and angle will def create good shots..
The photos are excellent - clear and sharp.
